Hope I did that right; I was again/still/more perusing Amazon to see if Doctor Mabuse (w/Jerry Lacy) was on pre-order, no, but I did happen on HoDS.

Under Top Monthly Deals and it's like $9.49 (not including shipping).

Cheers,

"Didn't you hear? They found 11 workers dead off Route 9."

I know Joeytrom, dom, BtBtender will know, but for our West-Coast cousins, there really is Route 9.

(Who remembers back in the day when there would be billboards stating Route 9 was the most dangerous, most accidents/per driver?)

Just logged on, right after having watched "Fight Club'.
So funny seeing Helena Bonham Carter then (1999) and now (2012/1972)!!!

What a hoot!

Current Talk '13 I / Too Stiff(?) (no double entendres!!)
« on: May 09, 2013, 12:12:16 AM »
I have never seen the '90-'91 series (except for a brief few minutes while it was on new in '91).

When I see the various montages and other pics, everyone looks too serious; too stiff.

If nothing else, Burton, Depp and H.B.C. look like they're having some fun (as does the wonderful Michelle Pfeiffer).

I know alot of posters did in fact watch the 'original' (hmmm) re-dux '90 series. Did anyone get that impression? How about now?

Current Talk '13 I / Where are They?
« on: May 05, 2013, 10:00:55 PM »
On today's CE/A montage, the words are, (from Stokes to Willie) "Get a hold of yourself man", (or something close).
Where is this scene from HoDS taking place that they are OUTDOORS!! ?!? OMG!

Okay, I first had it repeating: orange, pink, yellow. I/It 'spazed' out, but I got it 'close'.
I'm sure the answer is obvious, and at least Mark's b-day greeting looks okay, but I'd appreciate the help (and, if there are little cheat sheet ways to do a 'rainbow-y' type greeting, I'd appreciate that info too!)

Patti

Oish...I couldn't even remember how to do 'code'; now I see it's just a 'drop-down' menu to change colors, but I'd still appreciate the correction.

I had ordered and have received a 4-pack of Hammer's Dracula movies (starring Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing).
I finished watching "The Horror of Dracula"; I don't believe I've ever seen it!!

Current Talk '13 I / Who Watches Orig. Series....
« on: April 24, 2013, 01:02:57 AM »
My daughter, who has a lap-top, subscribes to NetFlix.
I asked her if one could watch the original DS series; she checked.
It looks like it starts at ep. 160. It's in ?4? part installments and when I had her put the mouse near each listing, it didn't look like it was necessarily in chronological order.
Does anyone watch the original series via NetFlix?

Thanks,

Patti

I am trying to bring some 'levity' into this bizarre mess.
It does seem to be true though, one must admit, that when you're up in 'ol Beantown, you're gonna stay!!
Vote away!!
