The channel is Retroplex (a movie channel).

Hmmm - I know I don't get Retro TV in my area - but I'm going to have to check for Retroplex...

I finally got the chance to see one of Valerie's films last year.  It was also from the 1950s and had a sci fi theme.

Would that be the 27th Day, Gothick? That used to show up on the local Chiller Theatre show fairly often. It's a fairly decent little film. I was surprised to see that it was directed by William Asher of Bewitched fame.
Another one of Valerie's 1950's movies that I only vaguely remember seeing is the very odd The Four Skulls of Jonathan Drake.

MB, I believe Retroplex is part of the Starz system.

I recorded the movie but wasn't in a "western" mood (as it was early afternoon) so I FF through it stopping to catch glimpses of VF for curiosity's sake. I may give it another shot as "after midnight" fare.

Yes, Uncle Roger, it was the 27th Day.

An odd little film but I enjoyed seeing Valerie in action having read about her for years.

Finally watched to completion. I found VF quite the capable actress and she is quite lovely. I'm looking forward to seeing her in other projects. I'm pretty sure I've seen the movie Jubal but I don't remember her in it, or the movie itself really.

Burr was disturbingly (and surprisingly) awful. The movie was barely watchable but I relished the opportunity to see French at work.
