any chances of setting up a real time chat room?
But now after all of that, I have no idea what to call myself... ?!?
Most definitely Jeff
He couldn't find a clue if they put it in his hair.
One more time: were the episodes shown on July 3, 8, and 9 (548-553) listed as July, 1968 even though they originally aired in August? The first montage in the series, July 3, contained episodes from two different months as did the 1000th montage last week. How can this be? you may be asking yourselves. Well, I'll tell you.

Almost three weeks ago, I deliberately did something to three consecutive montages that I've never done before or since.Emphasis there on the I and did - nowhere have you seen me state that the montages were actually displayed on the forum consecutively. You may have assumed that was implied. But if past contests have taught anything, they should have taught NEVER to assume anything. And if you've paid attention to past montages (including those on VN) and how I've often explained the way I approach the montages (which I'd often explained on VN), you'd know two things:
which should have been a dead that something was wrong in all three of the montages that I was looking for. And that was indeed the case. You'll recall that at the conclusion of my initial post and once again when I stressed portions of it in this topic, I said:
- "you were probably just too polite to say anything at the time
Good luck!! (But if you know you're DS episodes, you won't need luck because you already know the answers, and you were probably just too polite to say anything at the time (which worked right into my plans) - but now is certainly your time to speak up!That was perhaps the biggest clue I'd initially dropped. Why? Because if you know when the DS episodes originally aired on ABC, then you were already aware of the fact that three montages were displayed on the board that incorrectly identified the month that at least one of the episodes in all three montages originally aired.
Explaination, please.
I don't handle change well, Pepe.
Thought I'd try my hand at making a montage.Your montage is great, Connie - I LOVE it! Would you like to apply for the job of backup montagist (montagenist? Who knows? We'll just make up a title! )?
Jeffy Clark: he doesn't even have to be in the episode to be included in this vote. Just because. (Is it ONLY 70 times, I would have sworn he grabbed his head at least that many times in the last show he was on!)
Has the board ever been this hopping?
How does the traffic compare with what it was on the former VantageNet board?
If there has been a major increase in traffic (as it seems there must be), to what might that be attributed?
And the choosing to ignore Ford as THE Sam Evans in the DVD would be pretty public too. I can only surmise that there was a lot of animosity after the marriage broke up, which isn't surprising, what surprises me is that it would apparently continue for so very long.
I can't find any MSN files on the computer, though. I'm not savvy enough to know what file names to look for though, if they're using aliases, so to speak.
But why it would indicate I'm using MSN is a total mystery. I long ago unloaded every trace of MSN that I could find on my computer
I've made a decision that I'm going to post right after I finish answering this post...
what I did to the first of those three montages relates to today's 1000th montage
However, I'm not using AOL, CS, or MSN. I'm just coming straight in on IE 6.0. Cleared cache. Wazzup?
But... what still bothers me is the emphasis MB has put on "polite" and how we were probably too "polite" to mention anything, and I just don't see how this connects to whats been said too far. Maybe I'm just grasping for answers where there arnt any, but I'm convinced thats the key!
I do seem to remember a quentin montage on July 3rd!
a couple days ago I mentioned that I had a problem accessing the members archive with my browser (Internet Explorer version 5).
I found that I could access the archive (at least sometimes, I think I need to clear my cache maybe?) using Netscape Navigator version 4.75 (a program I didn't think I owned at the time).
<snipped>
I tried to access the members' archive and received this message
"Uh, uh, uh! You should know better than to try to come here using that browser!"
I assuming (maybe wrongly), that this isnt just another randomly generated error message. I mean, there was a little smiley shaking its finger at me shamingly. So, does this mean that my netscape 4.75 just can't enter the member's archive
I know this isn't the most urgent plea, but help would be appreciated.
Oh, and thanks!
