Wow, great reporting, MB! And how exciting! I (for some reason unknown to me) am so stoked about this actress, and how fabulous to actually be able to watch her work so soon after the announcement that she's been signed to the WB pilot. I don't watch CSI so I would never have known otherwise. You can bet your bippie that I'll be watching tonite! Thanks again - way to go!

I don't watch CSI: Miami every week (I don't think it holds a candle to the original CSI, but maybe that's just me). I was just lucky enough to catch tonight's episode.

Here's the synopsis/credits for the show:

This crime drama and the original Las Vegas-set series make working in forensics look pretty cool. After all, CSIs get to collect evidence at crime scenes, piece together clues in the lab and track down bad guys in the field. What's not to like? Yes, I can tell by her placement in the credits that I shouldn't expect too much. But I am still looking forward to it, never the less.

Well, a small role, yes. And not much of a chance to show her range, lol, but I am still very excited about Ivana playing Angelique. I really like her look. And I have confidence in her ability to pull it off - even if it is wishfull thinking at this point. I can just picture her going into a rage as Angelique or casting spells, etc.

The guest stars on the CSI shows rarely, if ever, have substantial roles because the stories focus on solving the case(s) and showing off the regulars. But I think Milicevic did well with what she was given to work with. The nice thing was that her character turns out to be very intricate to the plot. And it was definitely a chance for her to do something completely different from what she did on Buffy. As small as her role here was, in terms of quality, it was head and shoulders above what she had to work with on Charmed earlier this season. But then, Charmed doesn't exactly stretch its actors, now does it?  ;)

Not a bad ep, either, as this show's go.  A minimal amount of Caruso is a very, very good thing.  :D

Thanks for posting these captures. Some of them are absolutely stunning. I am having a lot of fun looking at them and picturing them as stills from the pilot, imagining them as "reactions" to DS characters and situations Angelique might find herself in and reacting to. I've never been an Angelique fan, but I think that's all about to change. I hope the pilot makes it to the tube and gets picked up as a series.

Thank you Mysterious Benefactor for the awesome pictures, especialy the last 4, I can now picture her as Angelique...or as Midnite nick-named her "Ivanalique". I happened to see her on a couple of "Buffy" re-runs this past week, very small parts but defintly holds a "presence".   -robert
