The Revival Series DVD release sucks, and this guy is pissed!

Anyone who's read my comments about the revival knows I feel negatively about it. But still, it deserves better than what they did. They had bonus material fully available and merely tossed it aside to release a cheapo set, and that doesn't even begin to cover the absent post-processing and the widescreen crop. What gets me about the cropping is that most widescreen TVs have that as an option anyway; why bother cropping it and spoiling it for the people who want to see it in the original format?

At least I'm assuming most have it. The only one I've gotten to fiddle with most certainly has it, and I can assume based on the fact that it's really just a zoom button that most, if not all, other 16:9 TVs are the same way. I just know that on that one, all you have to do is push one button a few times and it crops the top and bottom of a 4:3 picture.

And the best thing about the MPI VHS set is that it includes extra footage that isn't included on the DVD set.

Makes NO SENSE whatsover  NOY having "extra footeeeege" (as Grayson would pronounce it) on the VHS set and not the DVD.  I was like WTF?  Can I say that?

You most certainly can. You'll find that there are very few things you can't say. And in the case where it's something that you can't say, the system will automatically censor it anyway, so no problem.
