In reading all these realize i don't watch anything else on SciFi hate all their shows, they show horrible movies, and as i said somewhere else the William Shatner
Halloween marathon was horrid!!(Only thing creepy on it was him!) i wrote to them last time they pulled DS
but maybe i'll try a different angle this time! otherwise have to start investing in DVD collection and this will seriously hurt my shoe collection HeeHee!
Good luck everyone!

Speaking of Anya, I was disappointed we didn't get to learn more last week about her fear of bunnies. :(

That made me so mad! Especially after all the hype...
Even sadder is the fact that even if there's an 8th season, Emma Caulfield is reportedly leaving at the end of the year.

Damned if I know.

I was putting dinner on the table and my daughter asked, "What are we going to DO for 3 weeks?"
My eight-year-old said, "Resume your dignity!"

ROFL.  Where do they GET this stuff??

Today is the first day with out our DS fix.  My family is trying very hard to be nice to me.  They are afraid of my mental state.hehe.  My husband told me he would be happy to get me one of my taped episodes.  I have to say I check the TV guide and the fancy TV quide in the remote just to make sure there was not some horrid mistake.

Thank goodness there are some great Columbo reruns on Bravo in the coming weeks.  Otherwise my trusty 15+ year old (!) VCR won't know what hit it.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!  [wavey]

Hopefully I can get back in sync with the rest of you now!  :)  I've got the last 25 episodes or so on my TiVo and haven't found the viewing time yet...

Like some others, I was nervous about all these preemptions, and the re-scheduling...  I'm relieved to hear that DS is on solid footing with Sci-Fi channel.  For now.

BTW: I really, really hate the "suits"at Sci-Fi channel...  I will never forgive them for cancelling their own 2nd highest rated show (Farscape) with no warning and in the middle of a cliffhanger... :(

I notice, too, that they showed Braveheart this weekend.  Huh??

I guess any similiarity between Sci-Fi channel and any real Sci-Fi is purely coincidental at this point...  They've actually been quoted saying "we have no interest in 'spaceship shows' anymore"....   They should just change their damn name to USA2 and quit insulting their genre audience.

This three-week pre-emption is truly insulting to the DS audience and just plain ridiculous in general--especially considering that all they've given us are 10-year-old Alien Nation reruns--which nobody watched much the first time around--and Mulder-less X-Files.

Good work, Sci-Fi...

Sci-Fi's programming really mystifies me.  I just can't understand why they choose some of the stuff that they air.  When I've logged onto their website however, I have seen some people posting that they don't like Dark Shadows and can't figure out why anyone would still want to watch it. Takes all kinds, I suppose.

Still, am a bit nervous as to whether or not the show will actually return in January.  Have heard that they did cancel it once in mid-run several years back, and that it was only returned to the air due to an aggressive letter writing campaign. Just hope that we don't have to go through all of that again, would hate to lose our show.

Yeah,  I noticed that too and wondered what was up with it?  If you notice they also have alot of their scheduled shows all screwed up. Nothing is on at the time it's suppose to be on and some shows will come on about three hours later.  Twilight Zone is suppose to air here at 12:00 Midnite and instead it's been coming on at 3am!!  I've also noticed that they've been doing alot of paid advertising lately.  I hope they're not trying to give us "hints."

I.too, miss DS so much! It looks like we won't get to see it until after the new year. Aren't they going to change the time it's supposed to air? Marcy(Shadowgram) sent me a postcard with info about this, but,it's early in the morning here, and I've forgotten what's on the postcard!LOL! (Hey,I've got to have an excuse for forgettfulness!LOL!)
I love this new site. It's beautifully done! Good work!
