Mark dahling...I couldn't find the free download of zonelabs, and I had just been reading about sygate, so I just downloaded it AND I'M HERE ON DS!!!

Thanks again dahling!!!!!

Patti the Protected

sorry to bug y'all again, but when it re-started (after above downloading), it was asking me all kinds of ABC application (not abc, just using that) is trying to access your computer...do you want it to.

In most cases, it was stuff I knew (and sygate lets you remember) I clicked yes (I wasn't yet on-line, this was my stuff).
What I said no to though was
MSBB (does anyone know what this is? When I clicked details, the only thing I knew was 'ping' and ncase, which is something I can't get unistalled??)

Thanks

I ask, because since I said no but I didn't click on remember my answer...EVERY SIXTY SECONDS A SYGATE MESSAGE IS saying, this computer has blocked msbb!!! But I don't want to click on no in case it's something I should let run ).

oyevah

I had never noticed our cousin Bobubas had a web site.

I just went there; and, especially for some of the newer cousins, I definitely recommend it.

Specifically, since there's a thread on Current Topics from Darren Gross on NoDS, I surfed Bobubas' topic of NODS 30th.

Go on.....there's some very nice pics of DS stars AND nice pics of some of the cousins from here.

Thanks Bob ;)

Patti

PS...the easiest way is go to cousins list, click on his name, and there's a link to his site (and other cousins have sites definitely worth perusing too).

Interesting....
I've never been to the wb's site, so just now (while reading this thread), I went there.

I put Dark Shadows in the search area; supernatural type stuff came up (Angel, Charmed, people's I guess personal sites for witchcraft).

Interesting...no?

I just was looking at the link Prof Stokes listed; um, since I'm just randoming 'poppin in VHS tapes', I have 2 cents that I'm going to throw out....

Watching older eps...what strikes me is the blend of 'regular' characters with the 'supernatural'.

Think Dr. Guthrie, Sam Evans and Joe, simultaneously linked with Josette, Laura and yes, even Vicki (cause she's the one who seems to draw everything out).

While watching, I'm starting to realize that TPTB started to 'cram' too much only supernatural with no 'normal' blend.

Think 1897 (my favorite, especially the first half). You had your wolfman, your Phoenix, your gypsies, your DEAD gypsie tribunal, your possession(S), your detached hand, your IChing time travel so your vampire.......etc. etc....all within what...6 months?

The earlier eps had a very taught balance; it was easier on the senses.

I also feel that way about X-Files.

I hope they taper it down; it's a shame they're supposedly starting with the obvious, instead of weaving a tapestry.

dom...I myself have been thinking of it too.

One thing, and this ties into 'cameo' appearances by orig. DS alumnus'...on One Life to Live, (and I don't watch other soaps, so I don't know if it happens), a few characters who have left the show will pop up.

For instance, Clint. He just pops up, and it's like seeing a good friend.

Today,......CORD!!!! :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

oooohhhh baby......Cord.... :-* :-* :-*

But, OLTL incorporates 'old alumnus' and it's great.

Also, there are times that we don't care for a certain story line (and this could happen with the hopefully future one). But, if we never knew if say TLATKLS would be popping in, wouldn't we allllwayyys watch, just in case (or Lara Parker, etc).

Why (since this board/mod) aren't there any new Robservation posts? (They're really on the old board, are you able to make them 'be here'?)
