Thanks so much.  It really makes me ache for a DS remake with some of the old characters and a cast of young, attractive next generation actors and actresses to resurrect the problems at Collinwood.

I love Nancy Barrett's work, but even she admits that she was painfully miscast as Ryan's Hope's Faith (which is probably why she played the role for so short a time). Barrett's best post-DS soap roles were probably as Cathy Ryker on "The Doctors" and as Rachel Wilson, a terminally ill patient, on "One Life To Live". (She was almost completely wasted as Deborah Van Druten on OLTL nine years later!) But still, it's always a treat to see her in anything she does.

Thinking about the idea of a new DS series, I got a minor flash of inspiration and put together a mock title sequence for a new version - kinda tenuous I guess, but I figured people might enjoy it.
