Question about Quentin.

If Quentin didn't die and become a ghost, why is Amy still afraid of him in 1970? Has anybody else wondered about this.

Strangely enough people remember his being a ghost, despite his never being dead, but then seem to forget about it all together later. Initially fun, but sloppy writing.

Unlike with 1840, the changes made in 1897 seem to have an affect on things starting at a certain point in the present AFTER the hauntings have taken place.  People still remember the Quentin and Beth hauntings even though Quentin never actually died in the revised history.  There isn't a rollover affect like with 1840.  One of the many mysteries of time on DS...
