The late Dorrie Kavanaugh, who appeared memorably, if briefly, as Phylis Wick on DS, has a major co-starring role in the film Hester Street. This wonderful B & W low budgeter is about the Jewish immigrant community in 1896 NYC--wait till you hear Dorrie's Yiddish accent!
