OT-car wreck and DS

I have decided not to watch Dark Shadows on Sci-fi anymore..

Last week I had a bad car accident.  And I missed a few shows.  I really hate when I missed shows.  But the schedule that Sci-fi is giving Dark Shadows in the next month.  Is pain stupid.

So i decided to wait for the box sets to come at.
I have the first 3, and I cant wait to have them all

I will however, be popping in and out of here.

I still love this board.!!!!

Jon, Im sorry to hear that you were in a car accident. I hope that you'll be feeling better soon and that everything is okay.  My prayers are with you for a speedy recovery. Please take care of yourself. :-)

I surely can understand what you mean about the Sci-Fi postings. This is one of the reasons why Im grateful for my MPI collection because it sure comes in handy at times like this.

Im glad to hear that you'll still be coming back with us from time to time.   Hope you'll be feeling better soon!

I'm sorry to hear about your accident, Jon, and I hope that you weren't badly hurt.  

It's too bad that you're giving up on Sci-Fi now that we're in 1897, but it is good to know that you're not giving up on the board.  I hope that you enjoy your DVD's!

i don't watch sciFi that much anymore because i have most of 1897 on tape! yes what sciFi is doing is a pain

Glad you were able to catch the show today Jon. Please don't give up on Sci Fi and relegate your watching of the show to the DVD's. For one, the entire show won't be out on DVD for who knows how long.

I know missing a couple episodes can be frustrating, but Robin's synops of daily episodes are very comprehensive, and do draw a vivid picture in ones mind about that days goings on.  :)

first, please get well soon from your car accident.  this is most important and hope you are getting medical care, etc.

second, don't worry about the sci-fi channel.  i just don't get cable and i still have problems keeping up with the board here.  mostly, i ignore posts having too much involvement with the current story line and answer mostly the OT topics or polls.

hey we dvd only collectors can begin our own message strings and mark them "DVD"-"Put in Name of Topic as Wished" instead of "OT."

so i may start one soon and i'm hoping you'll answer or anyone else with dvds only.  that would be way nice of you.

Such sad news Jon I do hope no one was injured.

Sorry to hear you are not viewing Dark Shadows, how much of a pain is it?
I understand Sci-Fi is congering up new pains in the coming year... where as I shall be viewing DS in the wee hours of 6 am! and only a half hour to add insult to injury!
But what is a ghost to do! I am attempting to attain a somewhat permanent record of these events... sigh! :-

Ugh, 6 a.m.!  I can't imagine.  But with SciFi still showing 2 eps, are you saying you'll only be able to watch the first one?
