I have been away from the Board for many months due to my husband's illness. He is recovering, thank you. And I am very sad at the news that Don Briscoe has passed away. Thank you for
letting us know this. Also, someone mentioned "Dean". Was Dean someone connected with the show, because I can't remember a Dean. So glad to be back.

Thank you for your reply reMPI. Yes, thank you, my husband is recovering nicely now from his multiple bypass operation. He was in complete cardiac arrest at the courthouse where he works, and through the efforts of valiant deputy sheriffs, he was brought back with a defibillator
which was, thank goodness, on hand.

Can someone please tell me the mailing address, e-mail address, or phone number for the company that makes the videos of Dark Shadows? I was having great success with these tapes until my husband fell ill and I got so back logged, that I forgot the information that I need to order additional videos. Thankyou.

Calendar Events / Announcements '04 I / Goodbye for now.

I have been away from the Board for two months now due to my husband's open heart surgery. He is
recovering, but I find time shorter and shorter to use my computer. I have enjoyed knowing all of you, and look forward to the time that Some Bright Station decides to reinstate Dark Shadows.
Fortunately, I have old tapes of the show that I made at the time that I was taping Falcon Crest also, so I will have to go back and find the missing episodes and add them to my new tapes. Have tried for years to get a complete set, but something like a channel taking the series off the air wrecks it. Hope to correspond later with all DS Fans.

I am away next week, and don't know whether to set my timer for DS or use the tape for my other two shows.I have ordered tapes from MCi to come at a regular basis, but they have skipped two episodes, and now am not hearing ANYthing from them. Does anyone else ever have this trouble? Thanks. Afan

About the Jourdan production==I had forgotten about the baby in the bag, and that may have been it for me since I was a young mother at the time and the thoughts of what he was going to do with the babe made my blood run cold. Afan - there is a limit to scare!

That production with L Jordan was absolutely the creepiest Dracula that I have ever seen. Jordan was great but I could not watch all of it, a first for me, because of its creep factor. When I saw him scaling the wall, that was all for me! My husband had gone to bed, and I was alone, and that might have had something to do with it, but I have never forgotten that production.
