Fangoria has done some great DS articles over the years, including what has to be the best article on the '04 DS pilot. Whatever it's fate may ultimately be, DS fans definitely owe a huge debt of gratitude to the magazine when it comes to helping to keep DS alive.
Just for the fun of it I just went over to the Decades' Web site to see if DS would be on at any point this month. At first I checked the 31st, but the schedule for that day isn't up yet. But once I checked the 29th I discovered that DS will indeed be weekend binging. So I went to check the 28th and oddly enough, if the schedule can be believed, this year's run will not begin with Barnabas' release but with Ep #257 at 1:00pm ET on Saturday and last through Ep #340 at 6:30am ET on Monday.
I think it's safe to say that the Depp/DS film was never intended to be Dangerous Liaisons, so that's not a fair comparison. And as many of us have said, Pfieffer is one of the best things in DS and it was hardly a waste for her to appear in it. In fact, she was the one who pursued being in it, it wasn't the producers going after her...
