Throwback Thursday: Sacheen Littlefeather was #OscarsSoWhite in 1973

How does this relate to DS? Well, there are countless reports that the woman who called herself Sacheen Littlefeather on the '73 Oscars supposedly won the Miss American Vampire promotion for hoDS, despite the fact that she doesn't really look all that much like the actress who got a walk-on on DS and a couple other factors. But who knows...

There has always been confusion between Littlefeather and Christine Domaniecki.Christine addressed some of this at the Friends of the 1991 event this summer. She won the N.Y. regional competition, which received much media attention because of the presence of Jonathan Frid and Nancy Barrett at the contest at Palisades Park. Littlefeather won the national competition. But , for whatever reason, she didn't receive the amount of press coverage that Christine received. I have never seen any pictures of her as Miss American Vampire. A further complication is that Sacheen Littlefeather is not her real name. Her actual name is Marie Cruz.
