Collinwood Mansion
« on: January 07, 2009, 09:03:53 AM »
I just ran across the wikipedia entry for Collinwood Mansion, thought it was kind of interesting. It's a pretty nice work, full of spoilers so I skimmed over a couple parts. Anybody see any inaccuracies?

Yeah. The period in this sentence should be outside the parentheses.

Caretaker’s Cottage – When first seen, it was inhabited by Matthew Morgan (the estate handyman who murdered Bill Malloy.)

Where's your colon?

I just had one, so I guess that counts toward my degree.

Yeah, it's fun, though I believe it is incorrect when it says "Structurally, the house was constructed around a large central tower that contained an attic room."  But given the way the tower moved around, maybe the house was indeed originally constructed around the tower but then the tower got bored and went walkabout.

Also, perhaps the greenhouse should have been included in the list of buildings on the Collinwood grounds.  I don't think we ever saw it, but Roger mentioned it early in the series, as one of the buildings to be seen to when a storm was coming.

Also not mentioned was the cottage close to the seashore where a certain surviving member of the Collins family lived in 1995.
