What I appreciate about this is JF got the cat from "the pound" rather than from some cat breeder factory.

How'd he get the cat to stay still for the picture and sit like a doggie?  He is sure lucky to be able to have one too.  I'm deathly allergic.

JF has some kind of effect on animals - really.  They crawl all over him and sit on his lap so this cat is no exception.

I am so glad he got the cat from the animal shelter, Nancy.  I have three shelter cats and not a bum in the lot.  I hope he keeps his new friend indoors. Sam will be safer and cleaner that way.  The local songbird population will be safer, too. [cat]

I remember at the '90 Fest someone asked him if he had pets and although he said no, he mentioned that oftentimes various friends would visit him and bring their pets and they, animals, would go crazy over him, crawling all over him, snuggling etc...

He must be electro-statically charged.  Probably why many of us find him attractive and want to cuddle up and sit on his lap.

A truly excellent little boy!  I have one named Rudy, myself, and have owned cats most of my life.

I love cats. Jonathan's cat is waycoolcute!  [cat] He reminds me of our neighbor's cat, whom we call Thomas although I actually think his name is Mickey. When I was growing up I had a male tabby named Charlton Heston that loved water. If you ever wanted to find him, you just turned on a faucet. If you didn't close the door shut when you took a bath or shower, he would jump in with you! I hope we see more kittybooboo shots of Jonathan's new cat soon!
