Don Briscoe Online Memorial
« on: December 04, 2004, 01:29:54 PM »
I thought some would be interested to know that someone (a DS Fan, but I don't know who) added a memorial for Don Briscoe on the Find A Grave site which includes a short bio and very nice photo of him.  The site allows you to add a virtual flower and message as a tribute to him.

(This may have come up here before, but I couldn't find it when I did a search.)

No problem - I'm glad I was able to.[santa_smiley]

I was thinking of Don Briscoe last night when I started to watch "Van Helsing" on PPV.  There was a guy in the beginning (don't know his name) who I thought really resembled him in his DS days.  Ironically, he ends up turning into a werewolf!  That was also about the time I decided to stop watching - just wasn't in the mood for all the violence.  It was just one grisly special effect after another.  Ahhhhh, whatever happened to good old Gothic ROMANCE!!!  [santa_kiss] (Is it me or does this smiley look a little like Joan Bennett around the lipstick?)

It's not just you!  It really does resemble her!  That is TOO funny!

Thats a great idea...a memorial for him.  I've already left a note for him.  I think everyone on the site should do the same, because he was a dear man.
Cassandra:  I have a potion.  You know it well.  As soon as she drinks it, within an hour, she will go to sleep and have the dream.
Nicholas:  I am much to talented to spend my time drugging drinks.

Thank you, Castle Bee. I'm on my way to the site. Briscoe will not be forgotten, thanks to DS and Don's fans, and all the cool people associated with this forum.
