Title: Cover Art
Post by: I Ching on December 28, 2006, 10:21:44 PM
Since I never opened the bundle packs of the VHS tapes I purchased from MPI, I'm curious as to what all of the front of the slipcase covers look like.  Does anyone know of a website that shows all of the cover art?

The last time I was there a few months ago, MPI's own Web site did. But with them phasing out the VHS collection, I'm not sure if they still do.

Check: http://www.mpihomevideo.com

Alas, they no longer show the covers of the VHS tapes, only the DVDs. It is too bad, too--the artwork on the VHS tapes was pretty cool; lots of photos. Anyone have a scanner, perhaps, to show a few? [beg2]

Amazon (http://www.amazon.com) still lists them.  Just search VHS for "Dark Shadows Vol" and more than 200 pages will come up.  They won't be in order, but you can specify a specific volume in your search.

Thanks for the heads-up about Amazon.  You can sort the titles alphabetically and it pretty much lists them chronologically.  Most of the covers in the Barnabas episodes look more like paintings than photos.  I wonder if they were based on actual photos.
