I want to get screen captures for my Craig Slocum Website, so when I get them I will let you know.
Craig Slocum was on Ryan's Hope yesterday
He looked a lot different in 1976
Looked for the VW parentage thread earlier, and couldn't find it. Now I know why
Caught the tail end of a special about 'Ryan's Hope' on Soap Net......turns out Lela Swift directed the very last episode....!
Ryan's Hope, BTW, was done in the same studio as DS. Lela Swift, Sy Tomashoff, Ramse Mostoller and other DS crew folk worked on it!
In that case Desmond wouldn't have had to find the old man (I forget his name) who had had the Head a long time before and who died in Desmond's room. The Head clearly didn't know where the body was and was using Desmond to find it.
I was looking at my 2003 DS Calander this morning and what it says for October 27 is "Barnabas, who was a young man in 1795, says he was just a boy during the witchcraft trials in 1692!!" (1970) By the way the above episode happens to be the very next one shown next week on October 20.
My question is this. Obviously the reason Jonathan Frid stated the above was because that is what the script called for. But by October 1970, he had played Barnabas for 3 1/2 years and certainly knew his character couldn't possibly have been alive in 1692.
Despite the conventional wisdom and closed statements many make on this topic, it is not a given that Elizabeth is Victoria's mother.
I'm hoping that the original thread (I think it was called "Victoria Winters Parentage" or something like that could be accessed from the forum archives??
But, when she was with the body and was talking to It, and It apparently heard and understood - it really was funny.
I suppose the Head could have learned about it from Desmond and told her, but it still seems a bit far-fetched.
Thanks, I don't think many people will remember me, I really haven't posted that much, lol.
Welcome Padre Jim!!!
