I'm a little disappointed that a couple of certain people didn't laugh, or cure me when I said Julia but I wouldn't recommend it .

Blasphemy!!!!!

I didn't bother with the very small roles, but, yes, I wouldn't have liked Sky Rumson....but...the reason is...because he hurt Angelique (weird, ay?)

Cassandralexis was yet another that really was limited.

This is cool!!

A friend of mine on FB was mentioning something about DS, and, she said she had a friend who loves it (and she named me). I got to tell her about this group (longevity!!), and the cameos in the 2012 movie, and, about ((Abe Vigoda)) and I mentioned the uncredited Harvey Keitel.

Jerry Lacy is one whose characters I LOVE to hate.  LOL.

I swear as soon as I posted this, I thought of Jerry Lacy, but I couldn't add him.

I cast the first vote. Chris Pennock.

Couldn't stand him as Cyrus Yeager.

Really, REALLY hate him in a soon upcoming story arc.

Funny, I used to hate him as Jeb, but, sort of like him, sorta

Why do we hate certain characters? And when I say this, I don't mean every Roger Davis part, and, Barnabas is extremely limited (i.e., if you hate Barn in 1967, you still hate him in 1968, '69).

Once in a while, I'll think of David messing the ye olde bleeder valve. That (and combined with his age), would genuinely make him a sociopath.

Yet, IMHO, we like David...but, not just David, the various incarnations of D. H.

I personally hate Harri/Carrie, but, this is because I loved Amy. (I knew D. Nickerson as Violet, 30 yearsish before I knew her on DS.) I'll never forget the first ep I saw w/DN, I called my eldest daughter to come downstairs, and I said, "Look, you know who that is!!" She couldn't of cared less.

So, again, whoever you vote for, please don't make it based on the actor, but, rather the character.

Patti

P.S., I was trying to think of actor's to 'hate' specific characters, but, in all fairness, David Selby is quite limited, like Barnabas.

P.P.S., you can hate a character which you though was due to bad writing, or directing.

We learn, through one sentence of dialogue, that Chris, Sabrina and Amy have left Collinsport. Considering they were part of a major storyline, this seems wrong. Of course, it is right for Quentin to see a full moon and wonder what's going on with his blood relative. It just seemed such a shuffle-off for such important characters.

Besides Robin saying 'blood relative', was ANYTHING ever mentioned, or for that matter even realized, that Chris was Quentin's descendant?

Also, what happened to Sabrina's brother? (I can't even remember R. Davis' character's name!! Ned Davis?)

So, Julia's not at home, and Barn & Julia know this is a portent of a baaaaaddd thing, WHY DON'T THEY JUST TAKE THE KIDS TO ANOTHER LOCAL? Duh?

I was on Robservations, there's a pic of Quentin & ________________ (it looks like David, I think he's wearing 'modern' time pjs). It right over a pic of Elizabeth & I'm assuming Jason McGuire.

David? Daniel? Donald? Delilah?

Daughters of Darkness came!

Reading from the back:

A Fairy Tale for Adults
"Subtle, stately, stunningly colored and exquisitly directed...The most artistic vampire shocker since 'Blood and Roses'."New York Times

In 1971, DAUGHTERS OF DARKNESS was first relased in the U.S., cut by more than 12 minutes, where it played in both commercial and art theaters mesmerizing audiences with its dreamlike ballet of blood, making it chilling and erotic.
Delphine Seyrig plays Elizabeth Bathory the legedary "Scarlet Countess" who bathed in the blood of 300 virgins to maintain her youth. She is an enigmatic vampire whose sexual ambiguity creates a cat and mouse tension between her and young newlyweds, played by John Karlen (Dark Shadows) and Danielle Ouimet. The Countess's companion, played by Andrea Rau, is one of the sexiest women to ever appear in a vampire film (or perhaps any film). To meet this Countess of your dreams is to come face to face with your own nightmares.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hmmm....can't believe I've never seen this....I didn't know the woman of title was Elizabeth Bathory; I'd only ever heard of some woman who bathed in virgins blood.

This movie sounds awesome!!

MB, all those other countries you mentioned, was the movie in the native tongue(s) of those countries?

If so, did any of the 2012 orig. cast do the voice-overs?

Thanks,

Patti
