The fact that the "creature" has no name... another parallel with early Barnabas, when the word "vampire" didn't come up?
I didn't know about the portrait! .. nor could I tell the difference. You mean no one in fandom has ever bragged about owning it? Or could one of us have it, or know who does, and can't say?
I think the kiss is entirely unnecessary for the heat sucking. Ang could just as well get it via footsies.
Lydia, he was Wilfred Block, portrayed by Edmund Hashim (I wrote it down), of Arab or Middle Eastern extraction presumably. I thought it was slightly fun that they went to the trouble of giving him an unexpected first name to derive "Fred" from. It could have been Fredibald, or Bartholifred, or Fredonia, I suppose, if they'd really been bored that day.
My first Fred thought was: Fred, your bad acting's going to kill you very soon! Good acting is a survival characteristic in and DS universe. (Not that they let you use that skill much necessarily...) I had "She's So Cold" by the Stones in my head during his scenes...
I never took you for someone who would stoop to stigmatizing a blanket, Lydia.
PT Q sees RT. In RT, the Room's on a corridor that comes from the left (looking out of the Room) and right-turns right after its doorway, so that it then heads forward away from the Room. Megan's vamp room was the next room down that corridor. In PT that corridor isn't there. Napoleon is looking in that direction as if to express his confusion.
Ang: "When Quentin comes to join me, he will live this way too." Oh, okay, I missed the obvious Barnabas-Josette parallel in previous viewings. But... is there anyy reason to expect it to be "eternal"? Won't old age happen?
Nice moment between Hannah and Ang, where Ang goes on more and more intensely and indelicately about "love!!" and Quentin... and Hannah suddenly knows she means to kill him!
