Title: Motherless Josette.

I'd love to know why the decision was made to have Natalie be Josette's aunt instead of her mother? I thought maybe it was to mirror the fact that Maggie's mother wasn't alive but Josette isn't related to Maggie so there isn't really any connection to mirror. Maybe there was no purpose was behind the decision at all.

Maybe the DS writers reasoned that Natalie and Henri as sister and brother was entirely reasonable. But, as wife and husband, Natalie was far too grand and aristocratic in contrast to the rather gruff and pragmatic Henri to be a happily married couple? (Although, maybe Natalie and Henri would have had a far more successful marriage than Quentin I and Samantha or Roger and Cassandra had, and don’t get me started on the ill-fated Barnabas and Angelique nuptials!)  [ghost_rolleyes] [ghost_grin]

Interesting question  . . .
Is it true if the 91 series too?

I’ve been through both shows relevant story lines recently (last 2 year) and didn’t notice that particular detail.

Natalie the Aunt  . . . Perhaps  . . .
