All of you who remember the Famous Monster monthly magazine that Forry Ackerman edited for many wonderful years might want to know that Mr. Ackerman is critically ill, and not expected to make a recovery. Mr. Ackerman featured Jonathan Frid as Barnabas a few times in his publication and was very supportive of Dark Shadows ventures.
A friend sent this tonight asking that those who remember Mr. Ackerman with fondness maybe drop him a line at the hospital. He is in intensive care and is very much bouyed by receiving fan mail and cards. It is best to do this sooner rather than later unfortunately.
