Wow Vam, I was just kidding when I "cast" DS on Ice at our little discussion, but you have really taken the idea to heart and it sounds like you have the connections to get the idea to the right place. :D

I won't repeat all my casting ideas because some of the skaters that I would cast are not well known to people who don't follow the sport, but I will repeat that I think Sale and Pelletier would be perfect as Maggie and Joe. Those two skaters seem the perect all-American couple, even though they are Canadian. ;)

Go for it.  [thumb]

Nancy Kerrigan does a Halloween skating special every year. Maybe she'd like to play with the idea. She could be Vicki. Sorry, but I really don't want to see 1795 repeated yet again, even on ice!
Also two Julia captures:
1970PT Angelique held Julia captive in the lower depths of Collinwood when she discovered that she was not Hoffman, her loyal servant. Roxanne sees were she is in a vision.

In order to taunt Barnabas in 1840, Angelique hides Julia Hoffmann in an abandon lighthouse. She is found by Barnabas, who noticed that Lazlo was wearing Julia's ring.
One more Julia capture:
in 1897 Aristede kidnaps Julia and takes her to Petofi who holds her captive to lure Barnabas into killing her.
Dear Fellow Dark Shadows Fans. I was glad to see that there were no wardrobe continuity bloopers/blunders on today's first episode.  Everyone appeared to wearing the same outfits they had on when Vicki first "departed" on her sojurn into the past several months ago.

Actually I think I did spot a costume blooper in the first episode. When the gang had Vicki lie down on the sofa I noticed her shoes and they looked like 1968 vintage black pumps with a low heel--definitely not what she would have worn in jail!  :o

Which palor so I will know not to go to it? ;D

Our very own Steve, er, Gothick has written fan fiction wherein Grayson's character Pepe, from SATAN IN HIGH HEELS, has left New York, moved to Collinsport and opened a beauty salon which Julia frequents. :D

I really love the new look for Julia, whether it came from Pepe or someone else.

Really Luciaphil i could have sworn it was Lara Parker
in the drawing room at Collinwood but hey i could be wrong!

I think it was Lara Parker also, and I believe it is on the Blooper reel. It happens when Valerie first arrives at 1840 Collinwood. Maybe more than one actor on the show made that freudian slip.  ;)

The number one couple for me is and always will be Barnabas and Julia.  And to those who may argue that they were not a true couple, I can only refer back to Barn's words to Julia in 1995:  "Never without you."  And he did not speak them as though talking to a best friend.  ;)

Magda and Sandor (I agree with Profstokes on this one)
Kendrick and Melanie
Desmond and Letiticia
Quentin and Alexis/Angelique in PT

Of course, I can only vote for Dr. Julia. She may not have the best bedside manner, but she did have access to the best patients--Barn, Tom, Chris, Joe, Willie.  ;)

Honorable mention to Dr. Woodard (Gerringer.)

Please feel free to change it, Bette!  The name Magda is available, as are several other of her characters' names.

Thanks Midnite. I'll think about it for a while.  :D

I thought it was fairly interesting that Joshua sends Natalie a secret note to meet  him at the Old House. . .being as she hasn't been in many scenes lately..off mourning poor Josette and being trapped up in Collinsport. . Considering her 'cosmopolitan' nature. . it would've been fun to have her wonder, what the old Dog up to, how depressed does he *think* I am, not *that* depressed or desperate??

BTW--glad to see Natalie get a 3rd dress! [ltng]
I do think this is the last we see of her though (this time). . .
I've always loved these last scenes between Joshua and Natalie. Their relationship definitely was changing. I would like to have seen more scenes of these two dealing with the loss of their loved ones. The "new" dress was lovely, also. Finally, a dress that wasn't all ruffles and flounce. You could see how really thin Grayson was.

And I loved her delivery of the line "You think me her accomplice?"  :)

Bette (who is starting to wish she had come up with a more interesting username than her own, maybe Magda?) [idea2]

Oh, this was hysterical  [lghy]

Here I am trying to get some work done at the library and now I'm singing this new version of Big Bad John, er, I mean, Trask.  [scrm]

Thanks for your wonderful discussion of Grayson's roles in DS, Gothick. I have also been avoiding this topic for the same reason--I love Grayson in EVERYTHING she did.
And I agree with just about everything you have to say about her.  :D

Thanks to VAM for asking the question too. It's great reading everyone's comments about the Glorious Grayson.

Oh how I envy you! I would love to meet and talk to someone who knew Grayson and was not connected to DS. I think Grayson must have been a fascinating woman to know and I would love to hear what the actress had to say about her.  :)

Definitely gotta be Tom Jennings for me.  Loved the look in his eyes when he looked at Julia! [crazy]
