Nope.  I pre-ordered from Amazon also and have been watching for some notice that they have sent it, but nothing so far.  [pissd]

I thought that the MPI website indicated that those who ordered from them would get their DVDs a little earlier than the rest of us. Has that happened? I assume not since no one has mentioned receiving anything.  :'(

The only mention that we hear Barn make to Wiliiam  H. about Julia is that he compares her to the Hoffman of PT. He says something to the effect that the Julia Hoffman of his time is a doctor, a good friend and he MAY indicate that she knows what Barn is and keeps his secret .  His point being that she is very different  from the Hoffman of PT.

I've never seen Trading Spaces, but I love the show that it is based on--BBC America's "Changing Rooms."

Anybody ever watch that one?

For some strange reason, I actually like the Dell computer guy. He makes me laugh.  :o

So my vote has to go to that most annoying of characters, Jeff Clark.

Does anyone remember Steve Franken as Chatsworth Osborne III on "Dobie Gillis"?  That's another sort of character I think CS would have played very well.

Yes, I remember him very well. And now that I think about it, you are right. There is a certain similarity between Steve Franken (one of my favorites on Dobie Gillis) and Craig Slocum. Now, I am trying to picture Franken as Harry Johnson.  :-/

Mrs.J I've heard Weekend at Glebes which is good, what is the other that you've heard?

I'm not Mrs.J, J99, but I think she is referring to another Suspense episode called "Snow on 66."  I envy you having seen the tape of Grayson and Derek Jacobi in "The Suicide." I've read Steve's comments of that tape and would dearly love to be able to see it someday.

Totally agree with you, RJ. Grayson had wonderful eyes, but they are hidden under all that black gunk.  :(

Unfortunately, I don't think it is entirely outdated now. I have seen pics of G. Paltrow (can't spell her name) and some of the other current young actresses sporting the black stuff surrounding their eyes. And as great as Nancy Barrett looks now, she still seems to wear lots of eye makeup.

I would love to have seen what kind of vampire Julia would have been. I'll bet Barn wouldn't have been able to control her then! And I think Grayson would have had a ball chewing up the scenery, not to mention the necks of some of the male SYTs. [lick]

For me, Grayson WAS DS. I would not still be watching the show after all this time if not for her portrayal of Julia, Natalie, Magda and Hoffman. And it's because of Grayson that I have made so many wonderful friends who also appreciate this very much under-appreciated actress.

And I'm sure MrsJ. is right. I think Grayson would have thought we were all nuts!  :)

And then there are those who don't believe she is a "she" at all. ;)

You know, I never thought about it before, but looking at your screen captures of "her" I can see what you mean.  :o

Wow, Mark. What an exciting chapter!  I can't wait to read how Julia manages to get out of this situation.
