Just trying this out to see if I have returned to my former self. Or even a shadow of my former self.  ;D

Good Grief!   :o

I think I'm in the Twilight Zone. Macrame?

How about needlepoint? I can manage that.

Just testing.

I couldn't find my name when I logged in and it seems the only name I could possibly be now is Melody. (Hay, I like it.)

I'm gonna go crazy if Switch week continues much longer! [crazd]

I'm well aware Morgan Fairchild has done other stuff fleatingly none too successful. . my point was that Flamingo Road is what has kept her afloat, it's what people remember. .which I really don't understand. . .it wasn't that good and was only on for 2 seasons. . .how many people remember Flip Wilson and the Flip Wilson show which was a Top 10 show for 5 years. . .??

Just confounding really. . . :-

I remember her from longer ago than Flamingo Road. She used to be on a daytime soap, but I can't remember which one.

And I certainly remember the Flip Wilson Show. I watched it faithfully. His best line in the show?  "The Devil made me do it!"  >:D

Moment in which you most wondered, "What were the writers smoking?"  Sombrero ghost?

Sombrero Ghost  ;D  Loved that line, sweetie. You had me trying not to laugh out loud at the Reference Desk.  :o

Hey Julia, I have to wonder whether Grayson demanded sleeves on the housekeeper's uniform dress.  It's very odd that it was short sleeved that one day.  I thought she looked better that way, as well.  She may have felt that her arms were too skinny.

xo  Steve

I think that it's the same dress, but the long sleeves are actually a little jacket that goes with the short-sleeved dress. Maybe she felt it was not dignified for a housekeeper to be showing her arms.

Calendar Events / Announcements '03 I / Barny Bobblehead has arrived!
« on: June 17, 2003, 05:55:07 AM »
I joined the Dark Shadows DVD club and received DVD #6 and my Barny Bobblehead today, and I have to say that I am impressed with the  Bobblehead. He is larger and  more substantial than I thought he'd be. And he towers over my Clayguy Julia. I can even make out the wolf's head on his cane.   Now, where is my Julia Bobblehead, MPI?

I hope there are no plans for a Julia Bobble-head.  I may have to summon Hoffman to bring me the black pins!

Oh no, Steve! Don't do that!  I am hoping very much for a Julia Bobble-head.  It will go right next to my Clayguy Julia.  :D

Oh No! Did I almost miss it?  Worked all day today (yes, the library is open on Sunday) and it was too busy to even think about sneaking a peak at the Board!  Hope it's not too late to wish you a wonderful birthday. Glad we got to meet in beautiful downtown Burbank, and hope to meet up with you again real soon.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Thanks John,

Yesterday I saw an article in "Daily Variety" about the June vote and was considering  posting the info to this Board. I'm glad that you did it, because I probably would never have gotten around to it. I have been waiting for NOTI to be released in DVD, so I certainly hope that it gets enough votes. And I hope that they add the featurette on the making of the movie, which I always seem to miss when they show it on TCM.  And thanks for your (future) vote, Bobubas.  (I'd use a smiley on you, but I can't seem to get them to work just at present. Grrrr AOL)

Many thanks to EVERYONE for the Happy Birthday wishes!! Unfortunately, at 54 years of age, I can no longer blow out all the candles on the cake!!

Hurray!  Another "49er."  [hello] Happy Birthday from another of the oldsters.   [lol3]
