I remember her from longer ago than Flamingo Road. She used to be on a daytime soap, but I can't remember which one.

And I certainly remember the Flip Wilson Show. I watched it faithfully. His best line in the show?  "The Devil made me do it!"  >:D

I think that it's the same dress, but the long sleeves are actually a little jacket that goes with the short-sleeved dress. Maybe she felt it was not dignified for a housekeeper to be showing her arms.

I joined the Dark Shadows DVD club and received DVD #6 and my Barny Bobblehead today, and I have to say that I am impressed with the  Bobblehead. He is larger and  more substantial than I thought he'd be. And he towers over my Clayguy Julia. I can even make out the wolf's head on his cane.   Now, where is my Julia Bobblehead, MPI?

Oh No! Did I almost miss it?  Worked all day today (yes, the library is open on Sunday) and it was too busy to even think about sneaking a peak at the Board!  Hope it's not too late to wish you a wonderful birthday. Yesterday I saw an article in "Daily Variety" about the June vote and was considering  posting the info to this Board. I'm glad that you did it, because I probably would never have gotten around to it. I have been waiting for NOTI to be released in DVD, so I certainly hope that it gets enough votes. And I hope that they add the featurette on the making of the movie, which I always seem to miss when they show it on TCM.  And thanks for your (future) vote, Bobubas.  (I'd use a smiley on you, but I can't seem to get them to work just at present. Grrrr AOL)
