Trivia Question.....What do Grayson's Furry Disney co star and her boss on Dark Shadows have in common?

Always, Minja [vryevl][/color]

Great pics MB!

Wasn't the cats name DC? So, same initials.

And thanks, MB, for the great shots of The Divine One in her only Disney film.   :-*

Gothick...what "Disney flick"?

I'll answer this one, because hopefully Steve is out partying. Grayson appeared as the kidnapped bank teller in "That Darn Cat" starring Hayley Mills. It was a very different part for her and we can really see her lovely, expressive eyes, because for much of the film her mouth is covered by a gag.  :o

Happy Birthday, Gothick.  Hope you have a wonderful day, full of presents and cake. If our dear Grayson were here, I'm sure she would wish for you a day that's  absolutely "divine."  :-*

Grayson looked very nice in the 2nd film as Carlotta. .i think she **did** finally say something and did it pay off. . .Dan Curtis filmed her very nicely. . .that first scene when she descends the staircase. . .wait! is that the same chick?   8)

I totally agree, J99. I loved her look in NODS. The dresses were soft  and feminine. The wig was great too. Much more flattering than that  page boy thing  from 1967.  :P

I agree, Bette, that would have been so nice, but I'll cut Bab's some slack considering she worked on that film just over thirty years ago.

That's a very good point, dom. I wonder how much the DS actors would remember about DS if they didn't have us all reminding them every year about the show. Even then, sometimes their memories of what happened on the show differ from the facts as we the fans know them. For instance, KLS said at recent Fest that Grayson Hall was NOT the first actress to play Julia!   :o

As for the commentary, I just sort of zipped through the film rather quickly, but it doesn't appear that she ever talks about Selby specifically. Her focus, understandably, is on her own character.

Why does that NOT surprise me?   [chkyb]

I'm always pleasantly surprised when actors doing commentaries acknowledge (not to mention compliment) their fellow actors or talk about the experience of making the film. "The Hours" for example, has wonderful commentary by Nicole, Meryl, and Juilianne, and they all have wonderful things to say about the other actors who appear in the film. Wish Streisand had gone that route.

He actually reminds me of a sleazy, down-at-heels, faded-pimp version of Don Ameche.  but I'm sure I am the only one here who remembers the divine Don Ameche.

Nope, I remember him too. In fact, I caught a bio of him on the Biography Channel just a couple weeks ago.

Hope you have a great birthday, Ghost of Sarah. Didn't know that ghosts still celebrated birthdays!

But at least we know it will be released next year.

I knew his nickname was "bunny" but can't for the life of me remember where I read that, yikes.

Yeah, Midnite. I guess you would know about anyone who was nicknamed 'Bunny.'    ;D

I learned too (in a later phone call) that Bunny roomed with Marlon Brando back at the beginning of their careers . ..???  Bunny was about 5 years older  . ..go figure.  .no. . Picture IT

Turgeon and Brando.  :o I can't picture it all all J99, but it is really fascinating. And to think that we all resent the poor man because he replaced Robert Gerringer. Thanks for sharing your info.
