Happy Birthday, Gothick!

Hope you have a wonderful day.  Somewhere the Goddess Grayson is raising her glass in your honor. [beer]

I second that emotion! Hope you all have a lovely time.

Thanaks Jean-Claude and Gothick. I'm really bummed that I won't be seeing you guys there this year. Have to wait a whole year for us all to get together again.  :'(

I'll be sure to report to you if there is anything "Grayson" at the Fest.  ;D

I hope this info is useful to some Festgoers--

The shopping is fantastic.  My personal favorites-- Coach, Build a Bear, and did I mention Coach?

I noticed Julia's new garb in the PT room; is that that same infamous green thing she wears for about 10 or so episodes in a row, by any chance? .

That's the one. She and Barn go directly from the PT room  to 1995, so she's stuck in that suit for two weeks!

That'd be Chris is a werewolf... ;)

Thank you for the correction, Heather. I realized shortly after I posted that I had said vampire instead of werewolf. Guess it's just wishful thinking. I thought Tom the Vampire far superior to Chris the Werewolf.  ;D

Can somebody tell me what in God's name is going on in this scene??  I don't remember ever seeing it.

They are at Elizabeth's coffin because they heard the bells which Liz insisted be installed. Julia is checking Liz for a heartbeat. It's all part of the Chris as vampire, Liz is dead and buried, but not really dead plotline.

Did you see the entry for Grayson? They say that one of the roles she played was that of Hoffman, a butler.  :o

So sorry we won't be seeing you this year, Jean-Claude. It was great to meet you last year, and I was looking forward to seeing you again. :D  Next year, for sure.

Since I'm one of the SoCal crowd, I will definitely be there 8), as will my roomie from Cincy, Cath.

The main business news on this a.m.'s news was that after Christmas, Walmart will no longer be carrying VHS tapes (the news stated just like the other retailers are doing).

cnn.com is reporting that Walmart is denying that report.

Actually, vampires are often depicted exerting their will over people they haven't bitten. How many times have we seen a scene in which the person guarding the vampire victim falls asleep on the job because the vampire, who's somewhere outside and staring at the room, willed them to do so? And in those depictions it is quite often the case that the vampire had little or no connection at all to the person they're influencing, so I don't think relationships play much of a part in it. (Mel Brooks even poked hilarious fun at such scenes in his spoof Dracula: Dead and Loving It.)

Right, MB. And your comment reminds me that vampire Roxanne was able to make Julia fall asleep as she guarded Maggie, and Julia didn't even know who Roxanne was at the time, and had certainly not made eye contact. But it made a convenient device to put Maggie in more danger.

Did we travel by train?
Nope - Nancybe drove. At least that part made sense.  [b003]

Gee, I hope I was there, too. Sounds like lots of fun! ;D

Happy Birthday, Charles!

I went to Disneyland for my 40th. Any amusement parks your way? A great way to continue to feel like a kid!

I decided it was time Magda got a little more representation on this Board. My secret helper put it up for me.  :D
