Jonathan Frid answers "fan mail" about his website
« on: May 11, 2003, 02:54:27 AM »
Jonathan Frid has updated his website to include some answers to questions posted in the Visitor's Corner along with more audio from his ongoing recording of scenes from Richard III.  There are some sketches on the website by longtime DS fandom artist Sherlock (actually, an artist in a lot of fandoms) and Frid's own musing about why fans who love him can't seem to spell his first name right. ::)  It's all good natured kidding though.

Hi Nancy,

Thanks for the update.  I noticed that the website now says ........ongoing Octogenarian.  Is Jonathan now in his '80's?  In was my understanding that he was born in 1924, which would make him 79 in December.

Thanks,

Murph

Murph, I think you misread the opening. It says "oncoming" and not "ongoing."  You are correct, he was born in 1924.

Uh oh...
I finally got up the nerve and left some feedback about the
Gigantic Print on his site.  Hope he doesn't get annoyed or anything.  I've wanted to comment on it for awhile but was afraid of hurting his feelings.  Thing is.....it literally keeps me from browsing the site - I get such a headache.

Is it only me??????

You're probably not the only person who thinks the print is too large, but he gets a quite alot of feedback thanking him for the larger print on the site. :)  Opinions about the the print size or anything else will not hurt his feelings. :-*  JF wants people to express what they like and don't like about the site.

Nancy,

Thanks for the clarification. I don't know why I didn't see that the first time I read it.
