I was just glancing over the second Robservations slideshow (after not doing so for the longest time) and I noticed that today matks the 51st anniversary of one of DS' infamous eps. Well, infamous among the writing staff, anyway, because several writers have commented over the years that they thought writing that -


Joe is unnerved by the fact that one of his uncle's calves
was found completely drained of blood.

- in 1967's Ep #215 is one of the most ridiculous things Malcolm Marmorstein ever wrote for the show...

...it's also the 50th Anniversary of one of my favorite eps -


1968: Ep #478 - Maggie is terrified by what she sees
beyond the door in her dream.

- and the 48th Anniversary of another one of my favorites -


1970: Ep #1000 - ...Angelique soon comes back to life
and proclaims it is Alexis who must be destroyed. (One of
the best twists ever on DS!)
