Just a minor note here, Shadowgram reports that Mame is David Selby's "first musical performance."

He has appeared in a few musicals before, including Brigadoon and Oklahoma in Morgantown, West Virginia in the early 1960s.

However, this may very well be the first time he's had to sing a solo part. I am not familiar enough with the musicals mentioned above to know just what the characters Sandy Dean and Will Parker do or don't sing in them.

I believe Will Parker in Oklahoma has some solo lines in the song "Everything's Up To Date In Kansas City."

*sigh* Wish David Selby would come to Kansas City.....
perhaps Mame will go "on the road"...one can only hope!"

OK, dug out my program from Oklahoma....Will not only sings in the song "Kansas City" but in "The Farmer and the Cowman" and "All er Nuthin", as well.   Hmmm, Go David!
Because I knew you, I have been changed for good.
