(Hmmm - perhaps if Julia had survived, after she dumped Barnabas, she might have turned to Stokes. Or maybe Liz and Stokes might have suddenly realized they'd been attracted to each other for years and that way the house could have still remained in the Collins family too.  [nodassent])
