I've never seen the 2011 version of Fright Night, but I love the 1985 versaion...

And I've recommended Near Dark numerous times, despite the fact that I've said that vampire movies without fangs are like pornos without genitals.  [ghost_cheesy]  But it works in this case...

Disappointed that the had no mention of Let's Scare Jessica to Death, which has a very eery atmosphere, some good chills, and a very haunting ending. (And it stars the enchanting Zohra Lampert, who never really got the stardom she deserved.)
