Dan Curtis mentioned in Conn. Post article...
« on: October 20, 2006, 01:10:02 AM »
Tomorrow night, the Ridgefield (Conn.) Playhouse will be screening "Our Fathers", Dan Curtis's last film, with a Q&A to follow with one of the stars, Brain Dennehy.  There was a nice article about this in the local paper, which gave a paragraph to Dan Curtis, and adding that both he and Dennehy were Bridgeport boys.  Here is the link:

Since I only found out about this tonight, it seems doubtful that I will be going--- too soon after geting out of work with little time to eat, etc.--- besides which I'd have to follow a new set of directions PDQ in the dark. (Why oh why couldn't this be on SATURDAY when one has TIME to get lost and find the way in the nick of time?)  I used to be familiar with that area, but they've built it up so much and threw in so many new roads, lights, identical mini-malls, etc. in the last 20 years, well, it's a challenge.

Even if I cannot go, hopefully the paper's film critic (who worte the article) will attend and post something on his blog.  I will be looking for it.
