Vicki Moltke?
« on: April 28, 2006, 02:19:18 AM »
I just watched "Scandalize My Name" the documenatary that Alexandra Moltke Isles produced.
I noticed in the credits the a research assistant named Vicki Moltke. Any one know if she is related
to Alexandra, a niece maybe? Or could this be a pseudonym? Alexandra is listed as Alexandra M. Isles in the credits.

The only site I can find about it is on IMDB about the documentary you mentioned. It lists her as a "research assistant." Sorry I couldn't find more. :(

Of the three films she has made so far, the superb Scandalize My Name is the most widely available.
It's on DVD & has aired many times on Black Starz, Starz Cinema & Encore.

She not only produced the film, she directed as well, and wrote Morgan Freeman's brilliant narration.
It's a great and courageous film from a woman with much to say.

Her other two films were about the Holocaust and have aired on PBS.

Alexandra's magnificent film work does give new insight into why she did not like playing clueless Victoria
on DS.

While it's not available on DVD, you can get The Power of Conscience: The Danish Resistance and the Rescue of the Jews on video tape from Amazon.com.  It's pricey for an old video but I think worth it to have her first effort into documentary film making.

Her latest film is way pricey at $295.  I have no idea how else you would find it.
