Speaking of Broadway, MTW ('91's Joe/Peter)...
« on: February 01, 2009, 07:03:15 AM »
...will begin appearing on Broadway with Jeremy Irons, Joan Allen and DS' own Marsha Mason later this month. I've kept postponing posting about this because so little is known about the play or his role in it. But considering that previews begin February 28th, the news really couldn't wait much longer.

I'll bet Mason & Weiss don't know that the other was on different versions of DS: someone should send a note to the theatre & tell them!

Thanks for the links MB. How cool for MTW to be working with Jeremy Irons! [snow_cool]

Thanks, MB!

Photos of MTW with the rest of the cast ...

This is stretching his connection, but I've seen André de Shields in a Law & Order ep that also featured Martin Donovan, so one could maaaybe say that each of the actors has some tie to one of the 3 incarnations ('04 pilot, original, and '91 series respectively) of DS.  [idontknow]

Impressionism to Close on Broadway May 10

On May 3, MTW will be a presenter at this year's Lortel Awards ceremony held at the Marriott Marquis:
Kristen Johnston, John Glover, Jeremy Irons, Jane Krakowski, Parker Posey, et al. Set for Lortel Awards
(But no nominations for Impressionism, unfortunately.)

I haven't seen Michael in years.  He is aging quite nicely. SEXY man he is.  I am confident he and Joanna have portraits stashed somewhere.  [ghost_cheesy]

Thanks so much for this as you know I love the REVIVAL!

Got to see this before it closed.  Found it to be a very pleasant romantic comedy, much like the stuff that Cary Grant did back in the day.  The cast was very nice afterwards.  Andre de Shields stayed the longest chatting with people.  Marsha Mason and Michael T. Weiss were extremely friendly and charming.  Special mention to Jeremy Irons who put his arms around me and hugged me

Glad you got to see this play Uncle Roger.  I see you have posted 15 posts however; I am not for sure if I have ever seen you around here.  Welcome and keep the posts coming!  [ghost_wink]

I don't post that often.  I will when the mood strikes me and/or I have something worthwhile to contribute
