I know how the kids got Quentin's remains in that toybox.  I have a skeleton I display ever Halloween.  It is all held together with fishing line so it just collapes in a pile and fits in a small box.  I figure there is nothing left to hold Quentin together so he just collapes into a pile'o bones and clothes.  Scoop him up and your good to go.

At the time, I was about Amy's age.  We shopped at Ohrbachs for our Easter dresses.  One year, I bought a bright yellow dress similar to the one Liz wears(paisley with green and purple).  My dress was bright yellow with red and orange.  I was forced to wear unbearable itchy yellow  fishnet leotards(heavier than pantyhose) and bright yellow shoes.  I still have nightmares!

I am with you, Raineypark.  I hate buying or wearing shoes.  I spend all winter in my slippers or in my Bean boots.  I don't know what it is but I am so careful to choose the right pair and I still end up with shoes that don't feel right.

Poor Joe, he is attacked by an artifical man, a warlock steals his fiance, a vampire enslaves him then dumps him, and his cousin tries to kill him.  I think Joe stayed one day to long or better still he should have married Maggie before Barnabas came to town then moved to Canada.

Thank you, kuanyin.  You explained perfectly why I could not relate to the latest Star Wars installment.  It has been awhile since I could identify with pentulant, whiney, lazy know-it-all teenagers.  Some friends of ours hung a sign on the refridgerator for their teens and their teen's friends "Move out now while you still know it all".

I would like to reach my Grandma.  She died in 1982.  She and her siblings were abandoned by her father when her mother died of TB.   She was sent to live with an aunt when she was only six years old.  She was raped by her aunts new husband when she was 12.  In those days, it was only bad girls who got pregnant so she was sent away to an orphanage to have her baby.  I wish I had known this before she died because she needed my love but did not know how to show it.

That was well put, Robin.  I am a big fan of Robservations.  I sometimes forget that I missed an episode after I have read one of your descriptions because they are so dead on.

I pick Amy.  She told that whopper of a story to Liz and Barnabas so sweetly then later handed Liz a bunch of wild flowers.  It was definitely a Rhoda moment.

Hi Raineypark,

I don't know about Barnabas but I can picture Roger at one of those fancy hunting lodges.  The ones that have professional hunting guides and serve a gourmet meal at the end of the day and someone else takes care of the taxadermy.  Can't you just picture a huge moose head over the mantel in the drawing room?
By the way, real Mainers can't afford to shop at LLBean.

Yes, we wear tan pumps in Maine and in December.
However, she should be wearing her bean boots(LLBean) for the hike through the snow to Widows Hill.  If she happen to hit an icy patch she would not have to jump off she would just slide over the edge.

I just watched "The Haunting" last night(not the remake).  While all these frightening events were happening they were still saying to each other "It must have been your imagination".  As they say here in Maine "Ain't that odd?"

I live in Maine and have had several bats in my house.  My husband and I even had to send a dead one into be tested for rabies because of our cats.  It tested negative.   I saw one up close while it slept between our window and screen.  It had a little dog face kinda of cute actually.  My husband gently opened the screen then closed the window so it would fly out when it woke up.

I found Quentin's haunting of Collinwood the most frightening.  The atmosphere was very creepy.  Mrs Johnson conveys a feeling of forboding.  Spoiler                                                                                The telephone aspect was especially spooky.
