Well, now we know why Quentin ended up the way he did in 1995, and deservedly so. What an idiot.

     LOL!  Well put, Dom. [chkyy]

Congratulations, Luciaphil.  I agree with Robin, I think you should go out and celebrate or at least splurge on something you enjoy.  Best of Luck!

MB,
Carolyn married to Ned Stuart.  Well, I have a theory.  Every family has an a**hole in it either by blood or marriage.  I guess the Collins family was in need of one and Ned Stuart fit the bill. :P

PS.  Robin, thanks so much for the recap.

Roxanne, no history, just looks at her and it is love.  Roxanne is from the looks of her very mod, he knows nothing of her personality.  He should know that counter parts from P.T. can be very different.  Sloppy writing and planning.
Can you see straight-laced Barnabas hearing about all the good times Roxanne had with Claude and the knife?  You're so right, Birdie.  The writers set up a history with each women(Angelique and Josette) or let a relationship develop(Vicki) but with Roxanne, Barnabas takes one look at her sleeping face and her bullet-bra and he is besotted with love.  Blech :P

A big part of the problem with this Roxanne/Barnabas pairing is the age difference.  Mr. Frid looked ridiculous paired with such a young actress.  If Roxanne doesn't work out there is always Hallie.  I think Luciaphil said once in her column that Frid was too old to play the impetuous young man.  Barnabas just comes off as looking foolish. ::)

Arashi,
What a delicious idea.  Vincent would be wonderful in the role as an elegant and charming gentlemen suitor for the beautiful Ms. Bennett.  He could be good or evil.  I would'nt care which.  Great Idea!

Wow, Bob_the_Bartender.  You are sharp as a tack.  I drew a blank and all I could think of was The Lone Ranger and Tonto.
Do people villainize Barnabas because he doesn't return Julia's affection?  I always think of the relationship between James Bond and Miss Moneypenny.  He is young and handsome.  She was rather matronly.  Miss Moneypenny was out of her league.  I think they miscast Barnabas and Julia because they seem the same age and both are not movie star gorgeous.  They look like an old married couple.
PS  Before I get booed for knocking Grayson's looks. She looked alot like my late mother.  My mother won a beauty contest when she was in her early twenties.

Does Barnabas and Julia's relationship fall into the same category as General Hospitals Dr. Hardy and his nurse Jesse, Perry Mason and Della Street, or Gunsmokes Matt Dillon and Miss Kitty?  I'm sure there are probably more that I can't think of at the moment.  The women are there to be loyal and taken for granted.

You're so right, Bob the Bartender.  They have done the "possessed children" thing to death.  It would have been interesting if they had made Hallie an evil character(think young Angelique)  It could have been David's first romance with an evil edge to it.  Of coarse, this would have required more imagination on the writers part.  Oh well.
