I keep getting cures from the floating heart but since I have a fever and a sore throat I guess that would be appropriate. [sad3]

My computer took awhile to load the clip.  It played very slowly.  I began to laugh so hard my kids thought I had gone insane.  Pick or flick, it should have been reshot for the sake of Mr. Frid's dignity but then we would lose a real life moment in time.

I, too, love J99's new avatar.   Is it possible to put a bigger picture up for a better look at that elegant portrait?

Thanks for posting the screen grabs on your site, MsCriseyde.  I was too squeamish to watch the movie after I saw the commercial.  Eeeeewww :P

Barnabas always wore his coat even when the ladies were in short sleeves.  I live in Maine and we have had sub-zero temperatures.  My 1920 house is drafty and cold as the radiators are steaming away.  I can only imagine how a cold, uninsulated mansion on a hill next to the ocean would feel.  The ladies should all be wearing turtlenecks and wool sweaters in the house.  I know oil was cheaper back then but I bet Collinwoods fuel bill would be enormous not to mention the fire wood.  I wonder who split the wood, brought it into the house, and kept the fires fed.  Mrs. Johnson?  Tough old bird, isn't she.

Gothick,
You have got to see The Bad Seed.  Rhoda will make David seem like a rank amateur.  I don't want to spoil it for you so I won't give away any of the plot.  If David was like Rhoda his father would have been dead already and Miss Winters not far behind.

Thank you, Luciaphil,  I am not as familiar with these episodes but you have sparked an interest in me to view my tapes.  I love the way you can pick out good lines in some scenes where I might have been distracted by teleprompter reading by the actors.  Keep up the good work.  I am off to view the early episodes while I knit myself a new hat.

Thank you, Pennydreadful and Gothick, I knew the character Count Petofi seemed very different than Nicholas Blair and Angelique.  This explanation helps clarify his source of power.  I enjoyed reading the historical details you included, too.

Does it mean someone has opened a new topic since my last visit?

Hi Gothick,
If you have time, could you explain why you refer to Count Petofi as a Magician?  I know zilch about witchcraft.  I always think of a magician as someone who uses slight of hand illusions.  However, am I thinking of the title magician in more modern terms?  Is Petofi a witch, wizard, sorcerer or enchanter?  I did learn at the museum in Salem that warlock is not a valid term.  Thanks in advance.

I see the icon on the Dark Shadows Forum home page.  I thought that when it is lit up blue, I had new unread messages.

This was a difficult choice.  I picked three but could easily have picked three others.  She was fabulous in all her roles. [santa_thumb]

I found this the hardest one to pick.  I would probably change my vote and then want to change it again.  [santa_cheesy]
