I noticed that David Henesy has dropped the hoarseness that he adopted for the final scene of yesterday's show. It's a shame.
I thought it was great when Quentin yelled at Edward about how he treated Jenny. Quentin had every right to be angry with him!
I thought Quentin was an idiot. He runs off with another woman and abandons Jenny, and then he has the nerve to complain about how
Edward treated her? The only excuse I could think of for him was that he was so terribly upset about everything anyway, and he was just looking for an excuse to blow off steam.
What floor is Beth's room on? It had what looked like French doors to the outside, but then Edward, in that room, told David to go downstairs. Maybe Beth has some sort of balcony, but she's one pampered servant if she does. And another question about geography: where is the bell pull in the drawing room usually located? I could have sworn it's usually to the left of the fireplace, but today when Edward pulled it, it was to the right of the secret panel.
I don't know what to make of Barnabas's untruth to Quentin. Barnabas indicated that the reason he bit Beth was that he needed blood, when in fact it was because he had to find out who the werewolf was. Did Barnabas realize that he wasn't telling the truth to Quentin, or had he persuaded himself that the Beth-biting was about the need for blood and therefore basically Angelique's fault?
Jamison's lack of a right hand is a pretty extraordinary display of Count Petofi's power. Petofi has not only possessed Jamison's mind, he has also altered Jamison's body. What does Petofi need with that missing hand? He's already capable of doing amazing magical stuff. Oh, well, maybe...hmm...better not go there.
