Another Selby Film Out This Month
« on: October 18, 2010, 05:54:23 AM »
In addition to The Social Network, David Selby can be seen this month in the independent film Inhale, which was originally titled Run for Her Life. The film deals with illegal organ trafficking. It's already available through IFC Films On Demand, if your cable or satellite provider happens to offer that service. If not, the film will have a very limited theatrical release beginning Friday. As for how limited and where, I don't have specifics, but the IFC site will help you to find out if IFC Films On Demand is available in your area:

There's an interesting article on the Huffington Post by a professor in medical anthropology at Berkeley that discusses the film and its subject:

Lesley Stahl's Facebook segment and interview with Mark Zuckerberg that aired tonight showed 3 different clips in which David Selby appears, 2 of which feature him prominently (such as the "Is that a question?" scene).  Yay, David Selby was on 60 Minutes!

I have seen Inhale and it is quite the film. It really presents a huge moral question and makes you think "What would you do" as a parent. Anyway, very good film.  David plays an integral part in the story. Plus, its not hard on the eyes to have Dermot Mulroney and David in the same scene.  [santa_rolleyes]

Inhale should be out on DVD in late January. A formal announcement on the DVD release for The Social Network is expected by the middle of this month. (The announcement of the release date is expected; the release will be later.)
