If you missed out on the original release of My Scrapbook Memories of Dark Shadows, Kathryn has somehow, somewhere unearthed a limited quantity which are currently being offered for sale. The paperback is going for $39.95 and the hardcover for $49.95. To sweeten the deal, she is including not one but two signed color photographs.
I think that most of us long term fans bought this when it was first released. Maybe newer fans would be interested. The books are selling for more than they sold for back then but the price is definitely cheaper than eBay or Amazon.

I was going to say, isn't that much more than the original prices? And I just went and looked and sure enough they were $15.95 and $21.95, respectively.
but the price is definitely cheaper than eBay or Amazon.
Though why do I still get the feeling that there's really no need for her to up the price so much - they're practically doubled! If she had the costs of reprinting them, that could certainly justify an increase, but a reprinting isn't the case, apparently...

Very true. But she used the same pricing for the softcover/hardcover Almanac.
-
Do you mean she raised the prices on them? Because those aren't the prices on my copies of the DS Almanacs...

Call it a "gift bundle" and it sounds like something special. There is a similar package being offered on a Dark Passages/Return to Collinwood combo. That only includes one autographed picture but the price is a little better at $29.95.
Note: shipping is NOT included on any of these offers.

Oh, I didn't think for even a second that it was! [ghost_nowink] [ghost_rolleyes]

There were some wonderful photos of Thayer David browsing in an antiques store in my Scrapbook Memories, and a truly priceless photo of Katie, Grayson and Joan wearing black miniskirt ensembles for the funeral scene. The photos are the main reason I have kept the book.

The Ben Martin photos have always been the major draw of the Pomegranate Press books.

FYI: Kathryn posted today that she sold the last hardcover copy of Scrapbook Memories. She still has softcover editions available, as well as both formats of the Almanac.
