Housefly Cameo, were you able to find the remains of Spratt House??!!

Nope, never heard any hints from anyone as where to look, so I didn't try, and went to the Sleepy Hollow cemetary instead.

I got some chunks of Seaview roof from Jim Pierson, though.  Now what the hell do I do with them?

Small correction - the CD reading by Lara Parker is of the out-of-print Angelique's Descent, not The Salem Branch.

KLS picked Keira Knightley for Maggie/Josette. Lara Parker mentioned Charlize Theron as her choice for Angelique. Both seemed excited by the new developments.

That's exactly where it was! I think they should have posted a sign or something so people knew about it. I think they just assumed they did.

Crazy, I NEVER saw that set. Very cool pic. I also saw you walking around with your Quentin Figure!

Frid's introducing the clips was fun and heartwarming in parts, but PLEASE get an editor, Fest folks. He's on for an hour, by all means let's run clips that are way longer than they need to be (and that we've all seen before) for 75% of that hour.  :'(

This was only my second fest, but lots of fun and I met all sorts of interesting folks this time.

That was my feeling as well, which is why I posted it here instead.

Just checked in - hotel's great so far! Now to find out how their mojitos are...

Can anyone tell me a more specific version of this story?

"Mr. Edmonds and Mr. Frid were out dancing at some clubs one evening (durring the origional run of D.S.) and Mr. Edmonds got cought up in the moment and ended up dancing naked! Mr. Frid was so angry with Mr. Edmonds over this that he didn't speak to him for several weeks!"

Did you hear about some new delay? It's in the pipeline; it's coming.

Preach it, Elmont. If I'm at an occasion where driving isn't involved, let it flow! See you at the bar.

That post reminds me - can anyone help me figure out how to (if it's possible) find the Old House ruins?  I'll be going - only my second one, skipping it is a non-option for me...

130
Does "have the option to have it personalized" mean something besides "he'll personalize it if we want"?  Is he going table to table? Will I at least get to say "hi"?

131
While we're asking...

My understanding is that banquet attendees will get a photo pre-signed by homeboy, correct? We don't need to BRING the photo ourselves?  I just don't wanna show up empty-handed if it turns out we were supposed to provide the pic...

Nancy!

Will you be bringing any of these with you to NY, or no?

It's full of unfinished effects and ends on a cliffhanger, kind of. It'd never work as a standalone, but as a bonus on a DVD would be great. In fact, since Time Warner is ivolved, look for it as an extra on the eventual DVD release of Depp's feature project.

134
The Burton-Depp team-up is a no-brainer, but to be honest I'd love to see a less campy director on board.

Nancy, we want to hear what Mr. Frid has to say about all this!

Current Talk '07 II / Re: Please help me with airdates of reruns
« on: July 10, 2007, 05:47:01 AM »
As I was 11, I was reduced to fighting to stay awake for the Friday and Saturday eps and hoping I could follow along. Discovering the color eps at 3AM was something.

Now I'm watching eps I've never seen before - halfway through 1968 (Dream Curse/Adam), and man, the shows feel nothing like those creepy-yet-so-dry early Barnabas episodes.

Thanks for the responses! It's crazy to find out that NJN started rerunning them only a year after the NBC syndication! In my memory they seemd farther apart.
