Ahh, The Moon Poppy

So, what do you think.....did someone sit down with a roll each of green and purple crepe paper and MAKE that plant?....or do you suppose it was actually available on sale at Woolworths?  Can you imagine hordes of teenaged fans showing up in the artificial flower aisle of Kresge's and EJ Korvettes trying to find THAT very classy item for their DS collections?

It would have been nice if it had born the least resemblance to either a Poppy or the species of Morning Glory sometimes called Moonflower (its blooms do, in fact, only last one day)...but no...instead it resembles something you might see if you were smoking Poppies.   [smokn]

However....I still don't think it rates as the cheesiest prop ever used on this show.  I'm still partial to Bat-On-A-String, myself.

[bigok]  I agree Midnite, not much imagination went it to the creation of the shadow ;D but that spider on the web in the recent Amanda/Quentin storyline rivals it.  ;)[spidr]

I don't know. I think Amanda herself rivals the bat on a string, the spider, and the shadow for cheesiness and lack of imagination.

Of course, I am sure there are people here who would lash out in protest.  [lol3]

What was I thinking mentioning AH here? I should know better by now. Guess I walked right into that one.  ;D Personally, I think Amanda Harris is RANDIEE, and I'm shocked that anyone can think otherwise. Oops there i go again mentioning her name. I can be so evil.    ;)

This would be known as the arts and crafts portion of the DS arc. I get the strong feeling that the props person was dating an elementary school teacher and got her to let him raid the supply cupboard.

Been spending a lot of time with Kate of late, Bob;)?  I guess AyouknowwhatH would look good if such were the case.

heeheeheehee such funny posts but i actually liked the Moon Poppy better than Amanda because it was QUIET!Thank God
she is gone but now we have Jeb and Bruno  i need the effects of some poppy to stand their scenes!

 ;D Nanu, thanks for asking about my Katie. I haven't seen her of late. However, she did send me a recent photograph of herself (seen below)with a short note that said:    " Hi Bob, Hope all is well. I've just been hanging around in NYC and feeling a bit blue." ::)Poor girl misses me. I think I made a lashting impression on her. (That puns for you Midnite & MsCriseyde ;))
