Whoever wrote that is definitely jumping the gun because no such decision has been made by CBS. However, while the show is almost consistently #2 in it's timeslot by a wide margin, it is true that the ratings have been down this season, but that's due to delays and being up against football. Once football season ends, the ratings could easily improve just as all CBS shows normally do. Plus, there also the fact that the show does extremely well in other countries, so it's not just making money for CBS in this country.
A bigger factor than ratings is that this is the show's 5th season, which means that contracts will need to be renegotiated for the show to move forward to a 6th season.
